If you have your Picture This Photography Calendar this is your June 2023 image ”New York Summer Night Blues.”
Long New York Summer nights are packed full of outdoor dining, rooftop drinks, outdoor concerts, movies in the park & walks along The Hudson River.
The best views of Midtown Manhattan are across either The East River or The Hudson River with the ever-changing night sky giving gorgeous golden & brilliant blue hues.
This image was captured from Hoboken Waterfront across The Hudson River one evening during twilight & captures the fade of daylight & illumination of night. The Empire State Building stands tall & proud lit up in support of Ukraine in blue & yellow to compliment the sky while supported by One Vandebilt, The Chrysler Building & Chelsea Piers.
Hoboken Waterfront is easily accessed via PATH Train or Ferry and is worth a visit day or night. From Exchange Place to Weehawken the views are absolutely spectacular with a winding waterfront pathway, art installations, shops, waterfront living, restaurants, bars, hotels, parks and so much more giving city views in serene surroundings.
📷 This image was captured with a 55-210mm zoom lens at approx 180mm
